Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TaxAppealGA (the "Service"), operated by Patrick R. Kennedy d/b/a TaxAppealGA ("we," "us"). By creating a case you agree to them.

1. What we do

We provide property tax assessment review and appeal preparation and filing services for Georgia residential property. When you sign the agent authorization, you appoint us as your agent under O.C.G.A. § 48-5-311 to prepare and file form PT-311A, request records, communicate and negotiate with your county Board of Tax Assessors, and represent you before the county Board of Equalization.

2. What we are not

We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Appeals to Superior Court require an attorney; we can refer you. Estimated savings shown anywhere in the Service are estimates, not promises. We do not guarantee any particular outcome.

3. Fees

Our list prices are $99 per property per appeal season for the self-file Appeal Packet and $149 per property per appeal season for the Full-Service Appeal, due before filing. During our launch promotion, an automatic coupon ("LAUNCH50") discounts each purchase by $50 — currently $49 for the Appeal Packet and $99 for Full-Service. Promotional pricing may end prospectively at any time. If our pre-filing review concludes your property is fairly assessed, we tell you, we do not file, and you owe nothing (any amount already paid is refunded in full).

4. On-time filing guarantee

For Full-Service Appeals only: if you provide complete, accurate information and signed authorization at least 5 business days before your statutory deadline and we fail to file on time, we refund your fee in full. This guarantee does not apply to the self-file Appeal Packet, where filing and meeting the statutory deadline are your responsibility.

5. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate property and contact information, respond promptly to requests, and forward county correspondence you receive. Filing an appeal authorizes the county to review your assessment, which can in rare cases result in a value increase; we will flag elevated-risk cases during review.

6. Referral program

Each account receives a referral link. When three (3) customers who created their account through your link complete the full appeal process and their payment for our service settles (and is not refunded or charged back), we refund your most recent appeal fee in full. Free-promotion cases do not count as paying referrals until that customer makes a paid purchase. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and fraudulent activity void eligibility. The program may be modified or ended prospectively at any time.

7. Cancellation

Cancel any time before we file for a full refund. After filing, the fee is earned; you may still withdraw your appeal with the county.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected appeal season.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Venue lies in Lowndes County, Georgia.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to active customers. Continued use after changes is acceptance.
